New York Institute of Technology is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach asynchronous and online Design and Art History courses to both graduate and undergraduate-level students. The courses will cover design and art history topics, including graphic design, digital art, game design, and animation.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for Design and Art History courses, as well as participating in departmental meetings and activities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Art History or a related field and prior experience teaching college-level courses on this subject. Experience teaching online courses and working with international students is preferred. The candidate should have prior experience in remote and/or online teaching using an LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas for course delivery. All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation to teaching technologies, as needed, before the start of the semester.
Requirements

New York Institute of Technology offers a competitive hourly rate for this position, contingent on applicable rank. The annual base salary range for this position is listed, and the university considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
