**Job Title:** F&B Sous Chef
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Sous Chef to join our team at Mountain Capital Partners. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading kitchen production, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead kitchen production and supervise kitchen staff to ensure menu preparation meets established specifications.
- Develop and create specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Assign duties to kitchen staff and food servers to ensure efficient service.
- Order inventory through established requisition procedures to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Execute special events and functions to exceed customer expectations.
- Assist in scheduling kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure seamless operations.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Control waste and theft through continuous monitoring and training.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and cooking line to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Plan the preps list for daily needs and special events to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
**Requirements:**
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Three years of experience as a chef or sous chef.
- Solid knowledge of food preparation and storage, inventory controls, sanitation requirements, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Excellent supervisory and interpersonal communication skills.
**Working Environment:**
The F&B Sous Chef will work primarily indoors in a restaurant environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions on-mountain. The role requires standing for 80% of the workday, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
