Job Summary:

Planet Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Daytime Cleaner. As a key member of our facility maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our gym remains clean and well-maintained for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment, including tops and bottoms, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct regular vacuuming and mopping of all sections of the gym, including floors, carpets, and mats.
  • Clean and polish mirrors and other glass surfaces to maintain a sparkling appearance.
  • Break down and clean tanning beds, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and move weights of up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours, without rest.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is preferred.
