Job Title: Retail Analyst

Job Summary:

This role involves analyzing data from various sources to support retail reporting, projects, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience with data analysis tools such as IRI and Nielsen systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and analyze data from various sources, including iQubed, IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, and POS data, to support retail reporting and projects.
  • Manage deliverables and requests for assigned clients, including new item, coverage, merchandising objectives, voids/chronic out of stocks, and other client projects.
  • Develop analysis, recommendations, and presentations to support retail initiatives and projects.
  • Develop standard templates, scorecards, and benchmarking capability across customer teams and region.
  • Deliver retail analysis presentations to internal and external contacts.
  • Provide support and recommendations for improvements to tools and information used within retail analytics.

Requirements:

  • College degree or three to five years of experience in marketing/retail analysis or previous experience as an Analyst.
  • Specific knowledge of IRI and/or ACNielsen systems, other data gathering systems, and their uses in creating reports, recommendations, and presentations is desired.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, email, fax ability, database management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
