Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of tasks that include both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components. This includes working on assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Responsibilities also include conducting continuity checks on ongoing and completed work, as well as performing quality inspections in line with established quality standards. The role may involve disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specified guidelines and under controlled conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly operations is required.
- Strong organizational skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills are essential.
- Capability to read and comprehend Operating Procedures is necessary.
Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
Work Schedule:
This position follows a 9/80 work week with first shift hours.
