Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Millbrae, California.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) to implement selected components of patient treatment, obtain data related to the intervention provided, and make modifications to either progress the patient as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT) or to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement selected components of patient treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Obtain data related to the intervention provided and make modifications as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist (PT) to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Graduate with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and pass the National Certification Exam
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) State licensure or be eligible for state licensure
  • Current CPR card or certificate
