Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they align with business goals and timelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to determine IT needs and prioritize initiatives.
- Create detailed project plans that outline scope, milestones, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
- Effectively manage project timelines and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any issues to ensure successful outcomes.
- Supervise vendor selection and management, including contract negotiations and service level agreements.
- Implement a robust IT infrastructure, encompassing ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), cybersecurity protocols, and data analytics platforms.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading IT projects in a manufacturing context, ideally within the automotive or energy sectors.
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, cybersecurity, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion, delivering results on schedule and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker focused on driving innovation and leveraging technology to meet business goals.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is advantageous.
