Senior Culinary Specialist

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our culinary team. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to ensure they are nutritious and properly flavored, in accordance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.

• Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes and guidelines.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use, and perform scheduled routine cleaning to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy, and help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of the food supply.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Assist in the cross-training of employees and perform other duties as assigned.
