Position Summary
The Polysomnography Specialist is responsible for conducting and evaluating sleep studies under supervision, utilizing the internationally recognized 10-20 System. This role involves the identification of various sleep stages, apneic respiratory events, and periodic leg movements.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Employees are expected to achieve the sleep tech II designation within 12 months of employment and obtain RPSGT certification within 2 years. Additionally, basic cardiac life support (BCLS) certification and ongoing education in sleep diagnostics are mandatory as per state regulations and accrediting bodies. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are also required.

Compensation:
The hourly wage ranges from $12.22 to $19.95, based on previous experience. An additional shift differential of $3.00 per hour is available for night shifts.

Schedule:
This position is classified as PRN, with a focus on night shifts.
