About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, using a variety of techniques and strategies to minimize the impact of communication disorders on student success.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including progress reports, activity logs, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and to share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.
