Clinical Physician 2

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physician 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care and treatment services to assigned individuals, as well as providing clinical supervision and guidance to other medical providers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general medical care and treatment services to assigned individuals, including obtaining, reviewing, and recording individual information and responses to treatments.
- Conduct physical examinations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, and determine and/or confirm diagnoses and treat a variety of general medical conditions.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatments, medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and disciplines to provide comprehensive care.
- Explain and discuss procedures, test results, diagnoses, and prescribed treatments with individuals, families, and care providers.
- Refer individuals to other healthcare providers based on diagnostic and treatment needs.
- Participate in discharge planning and maintain medical documentation to agency, state, and federal requirements.
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, attending meetings and serving on committees and in work groups as assigned.
- Must be currently in title, reachable on eligible list, eligible for transfer, or eligible for appointment pending exam.
- Must have possession of a license to practice medicine in New York State or be eligible for a limited permit.
- Must have completion of two years of post-licensure medical experience.
