- Operate and service all necessary tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces for easy disposal.
- Spray areas with herbicides to prevent further growth and maintain a safe working environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly secured.
- Feed brush and debris into woodchippers, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Repair minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Service gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Relay hand signals, direct traffic, drive, and operate trucks and equipment as assigned, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Keep trucks and work areas clear and orderly, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Cooperate with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways, ensuring minimal disruption to the community.
- Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, and markers to protect employees and the public, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Be trained to perform tree and bucket rescue, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
- Assist in training new employees, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Assume responsibility for the inspection and proper working condition of tools, trucks, and other work equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Perform other related work as assigned by superiors, prioritizing customer satisfaction and employee safety.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods, maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
- Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces, performing mentally and physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions.
- No fear of heights.
- Must have good hand-to-eye coordination, prioritizing accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Entry-level position, no experience required, but previous experience is a plus.
- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
- A Driver's License is Preferred, but not required.

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
