Gardener - Test Facility Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at the Acushnet Company's Test Facility. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our landscape plant material and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine landscaping maintenance tasks, including pruning, weeding, and fertilizing plants.
- Assist with golf course preparation, including setting up and maintaining golf course equipment.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues or concerns to the facility superintendent.
- Operate gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use various hand and power tools to complete tasks.
- Operate golf carts as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of horticulture or plant maintenance experience.
- Ability to safely handle and apply fertilizers.
- Physical stamina to complete outdoor tasks for extended periods of time.
- Strong knowledge of exterior plant care, including watering needs, pest control, and fertilization.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
