About the Role

This position is a key part of PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales, and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of frontline employees to merchandise orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.
  • Apply knowledge of merchandising principles to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple priorities while allocating resources between accounts and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Brief frontline employees on scheduling and meeting delivery goals, and anticipate potential customer issues to apply contingency planning.
  • Train frontline employees and utilize PepsiCo's processes and tools to improve daily productivity.
  • Understand cost per unit constraints when meeting customer needs and help employees prioritize work and promote teamwork.
  • Supervise daily operations, delegate tasks, and monitor progress to set productivity and service targets.
  • Coach, lead, and develop Merchandisers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity through route rides.
  • Conduct team meetings and safety training to ensure preventive measures are enforced.
  • Demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Possess a highly developed sense of urgency and demonstrated results in improving business performance through leadership.
Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,800 - $87,000. Location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out quarterly. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. periodically.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
