About the Role
The Clinical Team Manager will oversee the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical objectives. This individual will provide leadership and direction to a team of nurses and support staff, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate unit staffing and implement clinical objectives to ensure quality patient care.
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.
- Meet with staff to plan shifts, services, and patient care, exercising independent judgment.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments, maintaining productivity standards.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- Facilitate availability of adequate resources and supplies.
- Set priorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics.
- Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required; Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
