About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Expertise: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, assist customers in person and over the phone, and determine their needs to present appropriate products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options with customers, suggest ways to improve sales, and comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, maintain precise work order files and formulas, and stock shelves and set up displays.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and assist in making deliveries as needed.
Requirements
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, and previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
