Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure efficient machine operation.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Operate machinery as needed, including welding equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about equipment issues and maintenance schedules.
  • Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
  • Proven experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming.
  • Welding skills and experience.
  • Experience operating a variety of machines and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant certification or diploma is preferred.
