Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lake Conservationist to join our team at the Brazos River Authority. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing law enforcement services for our lakes, property, and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Securing critical infrastructure and conducting inspections
  • Maintaining buoys and responding to emergency calls
  • Performing flow operations during heavy rainfall events and assisting with permitting
  • Ensuring water quality through environmental enforcement and education
Requirements
  • A minimum three years' experience in law enforcement or a related field
  • TCOLE Peace Officer License and First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening and have no convictions within the past five years
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and Good Driving Record
  • Requires working holidays and weekends, being on-call, and responding to after-hour call-outs
