About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our members, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to our members, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, communicate effectively with team members, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, rotating stock, and ensuring quality and date control standards.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes, and encourage others to do the same.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
