Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient physical and emotional needs are met in a variety of circumstances.
  • Perform magnetic resonance exams according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Screen patients and family members entering the imaging center and report any changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Transport patients as needed for all sections of the radiology department.
  • Provide information to patients and families regarding their exams and ensure they are aware of any necessary follow-up procedures.
  • Document all procedural information and complete examinations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks as required by section protocol.
  • Administer contrast media according to established medication review protocols.
  • Perform moderate or waived point-of-care testing as required by CLIA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • American Registry MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification is essential.
  • An associate degree in a related field is required.
  • Previous MRI experience is preferred, but not essential.
