Your Role
In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing air export shipments. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the tracking of shipments, arranging pickups, and booking space with air carriers. You will also handle essential air-related documentation, such as airway bills, pick-up orders, and manifests.
Qualifications
- Experience in international export within the freight forwarding sector, with knowledge of US Customs, TSA, and CTPAT regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a diverse, multicultural setting.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent time management.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with daily computer usage.
- Experience in negotiating rates with carriers and logistics partners.
- Familiarity with international and domestic geography.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a logistics context.
