We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Nutrition Supervisor to join our team at a hospital/facility in Norman, OK. Key Responsibilities- Lead the clinical nutrition team in providing evidence-based nutrition care
- Responsible for clinical nutrition team and diet office/call center
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Lead clinical nutrition performance improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide nutrition education and training to healthcare professionals
- Precept dietetic interns to ensure their development and growth
- Super User for nutrition software to optimize system efficiency
- Completion of a BS degree program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian
- Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas (nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology, etc.)
- Registration with the CDR and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license
- Must obtain a food handlers permit from the Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within 1 week of hire)
- Two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility
- Previous experience working in a clinical diet office or previous supervisory experience at a clinical diet office
