We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Penn Highlands Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing total nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, from severe abdominal pain to infections and traumas.
Qualifications:- Current Pennsylvania RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
- CPR certification or must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- ACLS on hire or within 6 months of start date
- PALS on hire or within 1 year of start date
- Good communication skills
- One year of Acute Care experience (preferred)
- Medical systems computer experience (preferred)
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to obtain a Specialty Nursing Certificate within 3 years of hire date
