Job Title: Bus Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Operator to join our team at Transdev in Cortland, NY. As a Bus Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers throughout the service area, providing reliable and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner
  • Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger needs and concerns
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with passengers and colleagues
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
