We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security measures to protect our clients' networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust security measures to protect our clients' networks and systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve difficult security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Configure cloud servers and vendors such as Cisco or Juniper, or white box routers and switches to ensure optimal security.
  • Manage the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services related to security.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field.
  • Experience with network planning for telecommunications switches.
  • Experience conducting integration and system level testing of telecommunications systems or platforms.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and networking equipment, including Cisco or Juniper.
  • Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker.
  • Experience with Linux or OpenStack.
  • Knowledge of telephony and telecommunications, networking services, and software defined networking.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Cisco CCNA and RHCSA Certification.
