Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Originator to join our team at Central Bancompany. As a CRA Mortgage Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing programs to assist special interest groups with home ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pilots or other programs to assist special interest groups with home ownership in conjunction with Central Bancompany.
  • Conduct relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures, and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act, and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Develop partnerships with local community members who are tied to target groups of low to moderate income residents, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, community development corporations, and local groups and associations.
  • Provide avenues or training for credit counselling, financial literacy, and other related educational programs.
  • Ensure legal/regulatory procedures are followed and compliance practices meet all Federal and State standards.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of twenty loan applications per month.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of loan originating experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Encompass, Microsoft Word, Excel, and a general understanding of the Internet.
  • Basic math ability and basic accounting/bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to use a financial calculator.
