Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice at Lancaster General Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly licensed RN or RN with less than 15 months of experience to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

About the Role

This position involves providing direct patient care, working closely with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate coordination of care across the continuum. The nurse will be responsible for developing individualized care plans based on patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • RN Licensure issued by the PA Board of Nursing or a Temporary Practice Permit until an RN license is obtained.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or currently pursuing a BSN degree.
  • CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
