Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced pricing algorithms using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, including regression analysis, demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and reinforcement learning.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews of pricing algorithms and related software components developed by the team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and optimization techniques.
  • Utilize large datasets to conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive pricing strategies, extracting actionable insights to inform pricing decisions and strategy formulation.
  • Oversee the evaluation, validation, and optimization of pricing models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance, implementing rigorous testing methodologies to assess model effectiveness and robustness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and finance, to understand business objectives, requirements, and constraints, and work collaboratively to translate business needs into data-driven pricing solutions.
Requirements
  • Masters/PHD in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Strong implementation experience with at least one of the programming languages (Python, Java, C++).
  • Strong hands-on skills in data wrangling over massive datasets using distributed computing platforms.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in online advertising, recommender systems, search engines, e-commerce, or related areas.
  • Excellent academic or industrial track record of proposing, conducting, and reporting results of original research, plus collaborative research with publications.
