Janitor Lead Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Janitor Lead to join our team at Skookum. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and in a functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Supervisor with ensuring quality service to meet contract requirements.
  • Conduct supply and equipment inventory of J-locker and storage areas.
  • Assist Supervisor with daily turn-in of Janitorial Lead Inspection Sheet and Feminine Dispenser log.
  • Assist Supervisor with monthly turn-in of Janitorial Lead log, Sanitary Dispenser log, and Employee or Route Evaluation as performed.
  • Responsible for the issue, turn in & securing of all government and Skookum keys/vehicles/phones.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a custodial capacity preferred.
  • Experience in training and working with people with disabilities preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling and report documentation preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
