Position Summary

The Inventory Management Supervisor is tasked with establishing and overseeing effective processes related to inventory precision, reporting, and cycle counting. The selected candidate will lead a team of inventory management specialists on-site and will regularly collaborate with operational and administrative leaders to cultivate meaningful relationships that support the ongoing growth strategy of ITS Logistics.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 2 - 6 Inventory Management Specialists across one or multiple locations, including hiring and training new team members to facilitate company expansion.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures that enhance the client experience concerning inventory precision and reporting, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee and refine existing daily/weekly/monthly cycle counting programs, and introduce new initiatives as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Administrative teams to proactively identify and eliminate obstacles affecting inventory precision.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of internal WMS and reporting systems, utilizing them consistently to drive ongoing improvements in inventory accuracy.
Position Requirements

Requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a distribution setting with a solid understanding of WMS/ERP systems and inventory control/management practices is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, along with advanced problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
