Torchy's Tacos is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of talented individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the management team in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management.
- Lead a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including secure safe handling and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
- Collaborate with the kitchen manager to oversee food production, inventory management, and quality control.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and employee performance to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management, including full-service, fast food, or convenience.
- State alcohol-server and manager certifications.
- Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and flexible hours to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
- Competency in basic computer functions and training and development concepts.
- Ability to foster teamwork and lead by example.
- Bilingual a plus.
