Position Summary

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate maintenance tasks aimed at improving productivity and reducing equipment downtime. This role includes performing routine maintenance on production machinery and ensuring the upkeep of facilities and grounds. The technician may also assist in various production roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain production machinery in peak condition through regular inspections and lubrication.
  • Ensure safety systems are operational to promote a secure work environment.
  • Rebuild and overhaul machinery as required.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Repair machine components to restore functionality.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in hydraulic systems and power panel fabrication.
  • Interpret hydraulic schematics effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
  • Inspect electrical systems for compliance and safety hazards.
  • Advise management on safety concerns and necessary improvements.
  • Support production in various capacities as required.
  • Follow technical drawings to ensure adherence to safety and building codes.
  • Install grounding systems and connect power supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and prepare necessary reports.
  • Understand PLC operations and logic.
  • Ensure daily operation of chillers and water processing systems.
  • Optimize the use of materials and equipment.
  • Provide training to staff as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Keep precise records and communicate changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical degree and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance roles.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills with a solid mathematical foundation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using electronic tools and devices.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting.
  • Adaptability to new information and processes.
  • Collaborative team player focused on problem-solving.
