Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Kaiser Aluminum is a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminum products, and we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to maintain and repair our heavy industrial machinery, including AC-DC motors and controls, combustion systems, PLCs, and power distribution systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, as well as experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, including AC-DC motors and controls, combustion systems, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment, including electrical and electronic circuits.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of plant equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Associates degree in Industrial Electrician program or Industrial Electrician apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of journey-level experience as an electrician maintaining heavy industrial machinery.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, including AC-DC motors and controls, combustion systems, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
