Principal Project Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Industrial Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Manufacturing Operations Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for providing industrial engineering support to designated programs and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide system-level view to programs, support all levels of build, and act as primary liaison between programs and Industrial Engineering team.
- Work closely with cell IE's and program leadership teams to support capacity analysis, monitor capital resource loading, and develop plans for capacity management.
- Lead program capacity analysis and reviews, conduct floor space capacity and workbench utilization analyses, and provide system-level view of cycle time and lead time.
- Contribute to analyses to determine tooling or manpower requirements and work with program leadership to assess what-if scenarios and guide long-term strategic decision making.
- Support Continuous Improvement activities, analyze manufacturing processes for opportunities to control/reduce cost, minimize scrap, control inventory, increase capacity, and/or optimize schedule.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or other STEM area.
- 5 years of relevant experience; candidates with a Master's degree and 3 years of experience will be considered.
- Industrial Engineering experience or Manufacturing experience.
