We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Mister Car Wash. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the monthly accounting close, including preparing journal entries, analyzing and explaining fluctuations and variances, and providing meaningful financial reporting to management.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to maintain flow of communication and support.
  • Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate the application of GAAP to peers and business partners.
  • Analyze current procedures and recommend process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability.
  • Work with internal and external auditors regarding accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and support documentation.
  • Assess internal controls and identify gaps in the control process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional accounting experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or NetSuite is preferred.
  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting large volumes of financial data with precision and efficiency.
