Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Charles Industries, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspections and complete data entry for all finished products.
  • Assist in-process inspections for all parts manufactured and assembly, including prototype inspection and FAIR reporting as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  • Verify shop order packets, including prints and Bill of Materials, as required during inspections.
  • Perform data entry of daily inspections as required.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records and file in an organized manner.
  • Assist production in non-conforming product analysis and resolution.
  • Participate in Internal Audits at the assigned facility as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience using mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential job functions.

  • Employees regularly work near moving, vibrating mechanical equipment, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
