We are actively seeking a Project Resident Engineer to oversee a significant redevelopment initiative at a major international airport.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., has consolidated a portion of its highly skilled workforce in the Northeast to create a more robust, efficient, and cost-effective team dedicated to serving our clients. LiRo-Hill is a firm of 1100 professionals with multiple offices.

Responsibilities
  • Organize, supervise, and coordinate large-scale projects involving construction, alteration, or repair of infrastructure and structures.
  • Schedule and manage all construction processes effectively.
  • Oversee and inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with plans, codes, standards, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Construction Management Plans, including progress confirmation, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
  • Establish and maintain an effective schedule of values for payments, change order management, and evaluation systems.
  • Conduct regular analyses of project schedules to monitor progress and completion.
  • Utilize electronic project control and scheduling systems to track project advancement.
  • Design and manage processes that efficiently support program objectives.
  • Interface with senior management and clients to ensure project alignment.
  • Assist the Program Manager/Executive in all project-related aspects.
  • Provide detailed management reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing major projects for recognized authorities or large-scale civil/structural construction initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry as a Resident or Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Equivalent experience with contractors will also be considered.
  • Experience in the aviation sector or with relevant authorities is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using computers and the latest office productivity and project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
