Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Manager to join our team at K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. As a Front End Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front end operations of our store, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Promote and maintain a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive experience at all times.
  • Front End Operations: Supervise and monitor the total functions of the front end, including cashiers, courtesy clerks, fuel, and video associates.
  • Security: Maintain the security of safe and change funds, count safe during scheduled shifts, and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels of all items for sale in the customer service area and candy racks.
  • Computer and Check Lane Recovery: Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of computer and check lane recovery offline procedures.
  • Banking and Armored Car Services: Follow and enforce proper procedures for handling banking and armored car services.
  • Money Orders, Postage Stamps, Coinstar, Hunting and Fishing License, Rentals, and Promotional Tickets: Follow proper procedures for the sale of these items.
  • Associate Management: Ensure that all front end associates take all breaks and lunches as scheduled, and verify all funds received from bank in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Phone Calls: Answer and facilitate all incoming phone calls.
  • Tax-Exempt Orders: Follow and enforce all policies regarding tax-exempt orders.
  • Child Labor Laws: Know, follow, and enforce all company policies regarding child labor laws.
