About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our Facilities Maintenance team at Children's Wisconsin. As a Painter, you will be responsible for performing interior and exterior painting and refinishing duties according to standard procedures, as well as assisting with other facilities-related tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- High school education or equivalent required.
- One year of painting experience in a commercial or residential setting, with healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, manufacturer's directions, and color charts.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, paint types, and surface coating materials.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to exercise judgment in selecting equipment and supplies and methods of application.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with employees in other departments.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to details while preparing surfaces for painting and mixing paints.
- Requires the visual ability to distinguish between closely matched colors.
