As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatments and related duties as prescribed by a medical professional. You will work closely with patients, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and assess treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and evaluate care for patients, including reviewing physician referrals and patient medical records.
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, massage, and other modalities, to relieve pain, increase flexibility and strength, and/or decrease patient disability.
- Document patient treatment, progress, and response in patient charts and computer records.
- Communicate with patients, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and assess treatment programs.
- Four to seven years of university study leading to a baccalaureate, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Association-approved school.
- Current Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
