Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining AC and DC power systems in the telecommunications industry. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including power plants, transformers, and generators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures all required paperwork is submitted to complete jobs daily.
  • Ensures safe transportation of personnel and material to and from remote job sites daily.
  • Ensures all Federal, State, and local laws are followed at all times.
  • Ensures compliance with both company and customer policies at all times.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and removes battery power systems, batteries, A panels, transformers, generators, alarms, and various interconnect/transport equipment.
  • Reads single-line diagrams.
  • Troubleshoots power plant, transformer, and generator systems.
  • Diagnoses customer alarms.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, as required.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, required.
  • California Electrical Certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge and/or understanding of low voltage.
  • Ability to comprehend a detailed scope of work (SOW).
Experience
  • 4 years of experience.
  • Generator experience in T-Mobile & AT&T generators.
  • Willing to be a team player.
  • Alarm experience.
  • Willing to travel out of town often.
Compensation

$35-38/hr
