Your Role as a Health Unit Coordinator:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
Position Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator is tasked with managing the nursing station while performing clerical, reception, and communication functions. This role also involves assisting nursing staff in delivering patient care within designated areas.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is required; one to three months of relevant experience or training is preferred.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to the operation of specific equipment.
- Proficiency in computer and secretarial skills is advantageous.
Work Schedule:
Position available on a PRN basis, as needed.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges as indicated below, with the actual rate determined by experience.
$23.00 per hour
