Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with business and IT product owners to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed functional design documents to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, scope, discover, and define solutions, explain business benefits and use cases, and provide a roadmap to meet their goals.
  • Assist the business in understanding the effort, risk, and effect of making changes to existing architecture.
  • Produce technical specifications for custom development and systems integration requirements.
  • Design workflows and assignment rules to automate manual processes.
  • Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with eight plus years of experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SAP S/4 HANA and relevant implementation/upgrade experience.
  • Strong requirements and design documentation skills are a must.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to define a solution.
  • Ability to understand methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Scrum) and other industry business fundamentals.
  • Knowledgeable in the design and construction of architectures that enable well-integrated transaction, collaborative solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Utility experience preferred.
