Bulk Propane Hauler

Northdale Oil Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Bulk Propane Hauler to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering propane to residential customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

We offer an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will operate a bulk delivery truck, adhere to all safety regulations, and maintain accurate records of deliveries. You will work independently, with minimal supervision, and be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous materials.

• Drive and operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely arrivals.
• Utilize electronic logs and dispatch software to track deliveries and manage routes.
• Pre-inspect trucks before each use to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Loading and unloading tanks while handling hazardous liquids requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Verify loads for accuracy before transporting products.
• Transport products safely to delivery sites, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Properly complete required paperwork, including delivery records and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery site.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid CDL – Class B license is necessary.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
• A HAZMAT endorsement is required; Northdale Oil will assist qualified applicants in obtaining this endorsement.
• Traffic laws/DOT regulations/driving knowledge are essential for this role.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds is necessary for tasks such as loading and unloading tanks.
• Candidates must pass random drug tests.
• A clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years is required.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective customer interactions.
• Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility are crucial for success in this role.
