As a Teletherapy Specialist - Occupational Therapist for Virtual School, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to students remotely.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Teletherapy Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with students in a virtual setting.
This is a full-time contract position based in Wisconsin, offering a competitive salary of $45 per hour.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting virtual assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct occupational therapy services to students through teletherapy platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services through teletherapy platforms, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and other areas affecting students' academic performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to support students' educational programs.
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with teletherapy or virtual service delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a virtual environment.
