Accounting Manager Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is a key member of the Loews Hotels finance team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial oversight and support to the accounting department, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Direct or complete activities related to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage and analyze financial data, including accounts receivable and payable, to ensure timely resolution of client disputes.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, including daily cash consolidation reporting and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Train team members on financial policies and controls, and support management with new implementations and improvement programs.
  • Identify training opportunities and create ongoing training programs for team members and hotel property leadership.
  • Foster a culture of financial excellence and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, preferably with hospitality finance experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new computer applications.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure, and make decisions under pressure.

$64,480.00 to $______
