We are currently seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Riverside. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in neuro and cardiac nursing, as well as experience with ventilator management.
Certification Requirements- Current CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with established protocols and standards.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives within the department.
- Provide guidance and support to other nursing staff as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience.
- 12-hour shifts, primarily during night hours (7 PM - 7 AM).
- Availability for every other weekend and holiday is required.
- Experience in neuro, cardiac, and ventilator care is essential.
- Flexibility to float to the Step-Down ICU unit may be necessary.
