Overview

Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and motivated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an individual who can collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • This role requires the ability to implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • You will support students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
  • As an SLPA, you will assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
  • Accurate documentation of student progress and effective communication with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members are crucial aspects of this position.
  • You will contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field is required.
  • Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program is essential.
  • State certification or licensure as required by regulations is necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals is also essential.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
