Hospitality Ambassador

We are seeking a charismatic Host Staff to join our team at The Greggory, a new restaurant in South Barrington that redefines American classics with warmth and hospitality. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

The Greggory is a dynamic and sophisticated dining destination centered around live-fire cooking and an open kitchen. Our menu features prime cuts of beef, fresh seafood, and homemade pastas, all served with the generosity and passion of our founders.

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the restaurant
• Assist guests with reservations and guide them to their tables
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and ensure a smooth seating experience
• Deliver menus and answer initial questions from guests
• Optimize seating arrangements to maximize efficiency
• Answer phone calls and schedule reservations for large parties

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours)
• Familiarity with food safety practices
• Physical ability to lift 20 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Speed and finesse are essential
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Complete ongoing certifications and training
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred

• A competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience
