KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in the Business Tax Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and/or partnerships, leveraging your expertise in ASC 740 and corporate taxation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and/or partnerships, utilizing your knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate taxation.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate tax provision calculations and compliance.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and expertise, advising clients and delivering high-quality tax services.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Oversee teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
- Participate in market and business activities to drive growth and innovation.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:
Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.Collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG tax practice.Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's values and work environment.Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, with additional approved credentials listed on KPMG's website.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate taxation, including consolidations and partnerships.
- Solid experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager:
Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.Experience mentoring and counseling staff and senior-level team members.About KPMG:
